I don’t understand this trend of putting blue or bright colors into ones hair i think it looks weird and not attractive whatsoever. I guess if your goal is to look like a space cadet this is the way to go.
Also the high contrast between dark/light looks stupid and way too obvious…..subtle is they key to get a beautiful look without changing the entire color.
I believe in sticking to your natural shade too black or blonde looks cheap ad tacky unless its your natural color to begin with.

I would use a mix of caramel and a violet sort of red color. Its not really purple but a pretty shade of red, its also subtle!

I am getting highlights for my birthday and I also have dark brown hair and eyes. I asked for many suggestions and people told me copper, blonde, light brown, caramel, and red. I hope some of those colors help.

Bronze highlights when I had my long dark brown hair I put bronze in it, it looked martial and amazing . I’m sure I’m late on replying and u already prob figured out the color but maybe u can try it n future :) good luck to u :)
Some of the highlights are nice, some are a little too much and some of the girls should work on getting their complexion under control and not bring more attention to their facial appearance.
Have dk but own hair tried gray highlights and it never showed.
I always end up with brassy ugly orange or copper highlights. I want blonde highlights.
