Most mother of the brides are a kind of old so I think a short cut hairstyle is better for them. And a short hairstyle is good to look at in older woman.
That depends on what you call old. Honestly I do not feel old at all and my hair is very long. I will look very nice in a part up and part down hair style.

I’m a 49 yr old mother of the bride. While not wanting to insult the mothers in the photo’s, I don’t believe I fit the profile shown as the “older woman.” Heck, I’m much younger than lots of the older hollywood stars, (and without the face lifts). I found this site on a search engine immagining I would find some classic hairstyles. Instead I found very typical everday looks that are typical with short styles. It reminds me when my daughters were going to High school dances and last minute photo’s of the two of us together. Me frazzled, not having time to comb my hair from time spent helping my daughter, and her looking radiant, (as it should be and is with the young fresh skin and hair and in love). This is my first wedding so purhaps it is like the dances with barely enough time to throw on a dress, let alone the hairstylist having time.
Very disappointed in examples. I will be a 61 year old size 4/6 when my daughter marries. The pictures were very stereotyped.
Many of the hairstyles are not particular flattering and makeup should have been softer.
